Hi I'm Penny!
As a child I loved to draw, fully influenced by manga and anime. Completed my bachelor's degree in architecture in Surabaya-Indonesia, I worked in Landscape-Architecture consultant in Bali (2004-2015). Spending too much time working on the computer, I realized that I didn't have enough time to drawing and painting. I began doing daily sketches since I've been introduced with Urban Sketchers community in November 2012 in Bali, where I joined with Urban Sketchers Bali and also co-founder of the group. At that time, I found my true love of watercolor, I had opportunity to learn watercolors with friends and meet other sketchers from other countries.
In 2016 I moved to my hometown in Surabaya-Indonesia and joined with Urban Sketchers Surabaya.
From July 2019 I currently living in a small city in Groningen Province in the Netherlands and become an active member of Urban Sketchers Groningen and IWS (International Watercolor Society) Holland. Drawing and painting now become important part of my life, I love painting architectures, heritage buildings, townscapes and urban landscapes in watercolor.
